Chinese New Year Parade: Year of the Rooster

We live in a small community full of big hearts and fun spirits. I've lived here almost 2 decades and try never to miss a Chinese New Year Parade, this was their 21st year of celebrating bringing together families through adoption. Children not only from China but other countries parade to wish everyone luck, happiness and good health in the new year.

Chinese New Year 2017 begins a year of the Rooster. Though it's considered a bad year for "Roosters": people born in a Rooster year and they must take take precautions to avoid misfortune.
