2 Easy Breakfast Cereal Recipes for Strawberry Lovers

 add it to my quick and easy recipes and it's perfect for those short on time but hungry for breakfast, a fun way to transform your morning routine. Quick easy and delicious, a perfect way to start the day!


One of our favorites is a Strawberry Breakfast Crumble "Pie", it's a lighter take on a traditional coffee cake, you might think well than it's a fruit pie? not quite since there's no crust. It's basically coffee cake minus the cake, or a fruit pie crumble minus the pie crust. We call it "pie", but its since my son doesn't like pie, the name is still up in the air.


Quick and easy, a few tasty ingredients and it bakes right in the ramekins and then serve. 


Strawberry Breakfast Crumble Pie

10 oz of Fresh or frozen strawberries
1 Cup white sugar
1.5 Cups of flour
1/2 Stick of butter
3 Cups Honey bunches of Oats with Strawberries cereal

Fill the bottom of 4 ramekins 1/2 way full with sliced strawberries, then sprinkle about 1 tablespoon of sugar over the strawberries in each ramekin. In a bowl mix the crumble topping using the 1/2 stick of softened butter with the 1 1/2 cups flour, and the remaining sugar, the mixture will be lumpy. Lightly cover the strawberries with some of this mixture, then top that with Honey Bunches of Oats cereal, and another layer of the crumble topping. Make sure no strawberries are sticking out of the topping or they will end up burnt.

Bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until the strawberries are bubbling.


Another one of our go to morning recipes is the Malted Milk Cereal Fruit Smoothie, it's really easy, all you'll need is a blender and some hungry kids!


In the blender add milk, malt powder, cereal, and fresh strawberries, pulse until well blended.


Malted Milk Cereal Fruit Smoothie

2 Cups milk
1/2 cup malt powder
1.5 Cups of fresh or thawed strawberries
1/4 Cup sugar
2 Tablespoons honey

Add everything but the honey in to the blender and blend until almost smooth (smooth enough to fit through a straw). Pour into a glass and add 2-3 Tablespoons of honey to taste.

You can add or change the ration to your preferred taste, this is our favorite.



So delicious! But even better, is that I know my kids are fueled up and ready to learn.
