Our town put out hundreds of American flags for the holidays, the fourth was quite windy so old glory was flapping in the bay breeze and salt air. I wanted to take a few photos of the kiddos with some of the flags near our house, it turned into a little serenade. They began singing the Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America, passing cars beeped and people waved. It was a great way to start the evening before heading to the fireworks.
I wasn't planning a snapping photos of the fireworks, but we managed to arrive just in time and front row seats. I think they look celestial images or even possible like microbiology, reminds me a bit like nerve cells. It was even better on our way home, we could see several different fireworks displays reflected on the water and it was simply breathtaking!
