Organic Matcha Green Tea Pasta Recipe






Organic Matcha Pasta Recipe:

  2 cups of organic flour
  3 xl eggs
        3 teaspoons Organic Matcha Powder (Kiss Me Organics)

Place ingredients into a food processor until well blended.
Knead pasta dough and shape into a workable size.  
Run through a pasta maker for desired thickness and shape. 
Boil in salted water for 5 minutes or until full cooked.



The Matcha Powder I used is a culinary grade fine green tea powder that can be added to bake goods, lattes, shakes, breads and pasta. A great way to add the same benefits as green tea to more than just hot water.

Not being a green tea fan I was hesitant to try it out but to my surprise I loved it! The noodles had just a slight green tea flavor and absoultely fabulous color with an over all wonderful taste.
 We plan on incorporating Matcha to many of our meals and drinks.

I'm really in love with the color!!!

  2. I've had matcha before but never in food. I have had other teas in baked goods and the flavor is very subtle. Welcome to Foodie Friday.
