{WW}: New York Maple Farm

We ventured out in the bitter cold on Sunday to enjoy the morning at Smith's Maple Farm for
Maple Weekend, so glad we did but now I want to own my own maple syrup farm.
It was was so yummy and the perfect outing for my brood of sugar lovers and I'm getting much better
at photographing in gloves, something I never had to do living in the deep south, enjoy the slew of photos.

  1. These are so great! My whole life I've wanted to go get syrup in the snow. And make maple candy on the snow like in Little House.

  5. OMGosh! Picture overload! They are so wonderful! I love the pictures of them tasting the maple syrup. Their eyes are just glowing with pleasure. You have such a great eye for a good shot. I am jealous! That red barn with the blue sky is just amazing. Thank you for sharing with us!

  8. I am totally down with the whole pure maple syrup thing (daughter had to do a project on Vermont in 5th grade - her "shoebox float" was a stack of pancakes with Vermont Maple Syrup - long story, nother post) - but the signage about murder and death - gracious me! I love all the expressive shots of the kids - looks like it was an exciting day.
