Busy week here with the threat of a hurricane. It was a bit windy, there was a whole
lot of rain with some localized flooding but nothing like prior hurricanes. I feel
for the people in New Orleans that are suffering great losses right now.
Our friends in Mississippi are also experiencing flooding along the rivers,
please keep them in your thoughts.

On a happier note our internet is scheduled to be hooked up on Monday!
So that means the kids have no excuses to not do their school work and I can
finally get caught up on my work. 6 weeks is a long time, I wish I could say
we were spending time on a remote tropical island than Alabama.

First day of ballet, she was a bit nervous since this was her first time taking
any sort of class and being on her own.... no siblings!
If you have boys then your use to finding this in the bath tub when you go to take a shower.

We didn't end up losing power during the big storm this week, but it didn't
stop Zen from using his battery powered headlamp to read his favorite book.

Half

I love the head torch picture:-) I got one for my boy so that he could make his shadow puppets easier. My hubby prefers that I use one for reading in bed instead of the lamp as its not so bright. Very handy!
ReplyDeleteThese are all wonderful. Love the head lamp! And you really captured a sensitive moment with your daughter and her dance class. Topped off by that beautiful 'half' face!! Great shots!
ReplyDeleteThese are all so fun and creative! I can't even pick a favorite. I really like your candid shot, though. And the lighting in half is gorgeous.

5 Senses - What a "ham."
Batteries and Half are tied for my favorites from you set this week. Boy are wonderful in such different ways. The lighting in the Batteries shot was fantastic and the Fan and Composition of your girls face were perfect for the prompt.
Love the last one! Gorgeous green eyes! Neat composition.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. Love that last one and the legos. He he. Dustyn is just starting to get into them.
ReplyDeleteI love the BW composition! Beautiful kids :)
ReplyDeleteThese are great shots. I love the ballet one. It reminds me of when my daughter Grace took ballet at about age three. She did one class and then quit because parents weren't allowed to stay and watch (no room in the studio) and she cried and cried. Oh well, she was better suited to blogging anyway. : ) Thanks for linking up even though you forgot my button. Do you not like my button? haha.
ReplyDeleteI love your button! Sorry I was working via my phone and couldn't get the button on the post until today ;O)
