Fragile Handle with Care

Yes it's true you can mail an Easter Egg!

I had seen this idea floating around Pinterest for a while now and thought what a great surprise it would be for the little cousins to find a giant egg filled with treats in their mailboxes.

We used the large plastic eggs from Target that usually come with Little People or similar toys inside and the eggs were big enough to fit 2 smaller eggs and candy perfectly. We personalized the smaller egg for each cousin with their names and special treats.

The kiddos had so much filling and shipping the brightly color eggs, I think we might just have started a new Easter tradition.

There were also a lot of questions about shipping the eggs:
will they break? will they get lost in the mail? do we really have to ship them, what if I want to keep it?

Zen really had a hard time letting them go down the chute.

The eggs are now on their 1500 mile journey to Buffalo,  I wish we could have hopped in the mail truck too just to see they expression on the cousins faces when they check their mailboxes Thursday, I'm sure it will be priceless.

It is so much better to give then to receive!
